Murgolo Makes the Right Call

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Artsiom Panasiuk opened to 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Eros Calderone in the hijack and Willy Murgolo in the small blind.

All three players checked on the 798 flop and 9 turn.

The Q river brought four-to-a-flush and action checked to Calderone, who bet 3,500. Murgolo pondered a bit before deciding to call and Panasiuk got out of the way.

Calderone turned over 75 for nines and sevens while Murgolo tabled 87 for nines and eights, which was good for the pot.

Vergitsis Wins a Flip

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sebastian Szychulski raised to 4,000 from under the gun and received a call from Ricardo De Andrade in the hijack. Sofianos Vergitsis three-bet jammed for 35,000 and only Szychulski called, with the covering stack.

Sofianos Vergitsis: AK
Sebastian Szychulski: 88

Vergitsis outflopped Szychulski on 5A7, and his top pair would hold on the 109 runout. He doubled up while both Szychulski and De Andrade retained their six-figure stacks.

Tekel Scores Massive Double in Classic Hold'em Cooler

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Andrej Tekel
Andrej Tekel

Andrej Tekel opened to 5,000 first-to-act and was three-bet to 17,500 by Hanseok Ko from directly behind him. Action folded back around to Tekel, who announced a four-bet to 42,000.

Ko responded with a shove, which was enough to put Tekel all in for approximately 150,000. Tekel quickly called and a showdown was held.

Andrej Tekel: AA
Hanseok Ko: KK

Ko would need some help, but the A510 flop left Ko all but drawing dead.

The 5 turn and 10 river left Tekel best with a full house and he doubled up through Ko.

Calderone Takes Some From Panasiuk

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Artsiom Panasiuk opened from under the gun before Eros Calderone jammed all in for 19,500 from middle position. The action folded back to Panasiuk, who tossed in a call to put Calderone at risk.

Eros Calderone: A9
Artisom Panasiuk: KJ

Panasiuk took the lead on the 8K6 flop, but Calderone reclaimed it on the A turn. The 10 river did not change anything and the pot was shipped Calderone's way.

Full House for Armstrong

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ian Armstrong raised to 5,000 from under the gun. He was called by Ramon Colillas in middle position and by Valentin Oberhauser in the big blind.

All three of them checked on the 795 flop. But on the turn Q, Armstrong bet 11,000. Colillas called, while Oberhauser folded.

The 5 came on the river, and Armstrong checked. Colillas lost the minimum checking back as Armstrong had 99 for a full house. The table broke after the hand.

Vergitsis Ships Six-Figure Pot With Ace-High

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ricardo De Andrade and Sofianos Vergitsis were heads up on a board of 7510J. De Andrade made a bet of 22,500 into the pot of 60,000 and Vergitsis thought about it for a bit before making the call.

The 6 river then completed the board and both players checked in quick succession. De Andrade tabled KQ for just king-high. Vergitsis played a slightly better hand with AQ and he won the pot without even having a pair.
