Tryska's RIver Bet Earns the Pot

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Stanislav Tryska opened 5,000 in middle position and only Michel Karim came along from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of Q84, and Karim check-called a bet of 4,000.

The 8 turn was checked through to see the 6 river. Karim checked once more and Tryska flung a bet of 13,000 into the middle.

Karim went into the tank for some time, eventually grabbing the 13,000. As he did, Tryska looked back at his hand and Karim paused. A few more seconds went by before Karim pushed his cards toward the dealer.

Markakis Wins Battle of the Greeks

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

It was all action preflop as Eleftherios Papangelis opened to 6,500 from the cutoff and saw the button call. Konstantinos Markakis then raised in the small blind to 22,000. The big blind quickly got out of the way, before Papangelis called and the button also folded - taking it two ways to the flop.

The flop came 2810, and saw both players check.

A Q turn sparked more action, as Markakis check-called a bet of 22,000 from Papangelis.

Both players checked it on the Q river and it went to showdown. Papangelis showed the AK, while Markakis took the pot, tabling a pair of nines.

Cuba Check-Jams the Turn

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tamer Kamel limped in middle position before Konstantinos Petrakis raised 6,000 in the cutoff. Ondrej Cuba defended the big blind, and Kamel tossed in a call.

Ken Oberliessen opened to 6,000 from middle position and was called by Pavlos Xanthopoulos in the big blind.

Xanthopoulos check-called a 3,000 bet from Oberliessen on the KK6 flop and a 17,000 bet from Oberliessen on the 3 turn.

The 7 completed the board and Xanthopoulos checked a final time. Oberliessen wasn't done and fired 47,000 into the middle, leaving himself a single 500-denomination chip behind.

Xanthopoulos tanked a bit but eventually stuck in a call. Oberliessen turned over QJ for a bluff and Xanthopoulos tabled 76 for a winning two pair to take down the monster pot.
