After Michal Mrakes opened to 10,000 from middle position, Salim Alibas called from the small blind and he was the only one to do so.

Mrakes continued with a bet of 12,000 on the 8♠5♥J♦ flop, and Alibas quickly called. Both players decided to check on the turn A♦. There was no more action on the river J♥, as Mrakes and Alibas checked again.

First player to reveal his cards, Alibas showed A♠6♠. Mrakes mucked his cards, so Alibas scooped the pot to reach 300,000 chips.

Middle position started the action, making it 10,000. Maxim Staudacher in the cutoff then shoved for 73,000. After some deliberation, Nemanja Lukovic re-shoved in the big blind. Middle position tanked for a short while before folding and we went heads up to the flop with the German's tournament life at risk.

The table gave out a collective gasp as the 8♥K♥9♥ flop landed, giving both players a set.

Staudacher was still way behind as the 5♠ came on the turn, needing the remaining nine to come.

It didn't, and the 2♣ river condemned Staudacher to the rail, while Lukovic chipped up close to average stack.

The 7♠ fell on the river and both players quickly tapped the table. Rios tabled 10♣9♦ and that was good as De Bonis mucked his hand.

Karl thought for a minute before four-betting to 58,000, sending the Serb into the tank. After some thinking, Sunjevaric went all in, with the bubble rapidly approaching. Karl eventually folded, and Sunjevaric tabled two jacks as he scooped a huge pot.
