Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz opened to 325,000 under the gun. Kirill Burtin three-bet from the small blind to 1,400,000 but was swiftly met with a cold four-bet all in jam to 5,650,000 from Viktor Jensen in the big blind.
Wyrzykiewicz quickly folded, and Burtin quickly called to put Jensen at risk.

Both players had huge hands but Burtin's aces were crushing Jensen's kings. However the 7♣9♥K♥9♦5♠ runout gave Jensen kings full of nines and sent a huge pot his way.
Burtin couldn't believe his misfortune and had to walk away from the table momentarily to gather his thoughts.
Raoul Kanme shoved his last 2,600,000 into the middle from the small blind and Alexander Tkatschew snap-called in the big blind.

Kanme was dominated but the 8♥5♥2♥ flop gave him some hope with a flush draw. Unfortunately for him though the Q♣ turn and A♠ river weren't what he was looking for as he exited the tournament in 19th place.
Kirill Burtin opened to 325,000 in early position and Andrew Hawkins moved all in from the big blind for 1,300,000. Burtin made the call to put Hawkins at risk.

Hawkins needed some help but was drawing very thin after the A♥A♦10♥ flop.
The 9♠ turn gave Hawkins some extra outs but no help arrived on the 6♥ river and he made his way to the exit.
Miroslav Forman opened to 300,000 in middle position before Andrej Tekel moved all in on the button. Jan Krahulik took some time in the small blind and decided to move his shorter stack into the middle. Forman folded, leaving Tekel at risk heads up.

Krahulik was in control and faded a nine on the A♣2♠K♦Q♠7♣ runout, sending out Tekel in 21st place.
Mitja Rudolf was all-in for around 1,500,000 on a board of A♥6♥3♥ and had been called by Michel Karim to be at risk.

Rudolf was ahead but Karim had outs to the heart draw as well as any ten, and the 4♥ turn improved him to a flush and left Rudolf drawing dead. The 7♦ completed the runout and Karim took down the pot.
Agostino Ascone opened 350,000 under the gun and Miroslav Forman called on the button.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♥7♠7♦, and Ascone continued for 400,000. Forman called.
When the K♠ hit the river, Ascone fired a bet of 800,000, and Forman matched his bet.
The 5♣ completed the board on the river, and Ascone bet 700,000. Forman took about 10 seconds before announcing all-in. Ascone went into the tank for about three minutes before time was called. With the floor counting down, he dropped a chip across the line to make the call.
Forman tabled A♥7♥, flopping trip sevens, and Ascone frustratingly splashed his stack across the table while showing A♠K♥.
Timo Scarcella jammed his last 600,000 in the small blind and was instantly called by Catalin Moraru in the big blind.

The flop came Q♣5♠4♦, pairing both players but Scarcella was still in the lead with a pair of queens. The 6♣ hit the turn, giving Moraru a flush draw and the 2♣ river completed the flush, sending Scarcella home in 24th place.
Patrick Beuter opened 250,000 under the gun and only Antonino Venneri made the call on the button.
The dealer fanned a flop of 9♦6♥2♦, and Beuter continued for 450,000. Venneri called.
When the 6♣ fell on the turn, Beuter jammed for about 1,300,000 and Venneri snap-called.

Marcus Borowski opened to 245,000 under the gun and was three-bet to 690,000 by Kirill Burtin in the next seat. Action folded around to Ercan Atmaca on the button, who pondered his options for some time. Atmaca then produced the cold four-bet to 1,600,000.
Back to Borowski, who exhaled deeply before announcing he was all-in for 2,750,000 total. Burtin looked perplexed, and clearly had a decision, as he thought about the position for some time before folding.
The action moved back to Atmaca, who made a quick call, with Borowski at risk.
