Auzoux Doubles Through Pardo
Level 9
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gregoire Auzoux had already opened from under the gun and was three-bet to 20,000 by Juan Pardo from early position. Action folded back to Auzoux, who called.
Auzoux checked to Pardo on the 9♥2♥7♥ flop and he bet 10,000. Auzoux responded with a check-raise to 26,000 and Pardo shoved to put Auzoux all in for a bit under 100,000. Auzoux quickly called and a showdown was held.
Gregoire Auzoux: A♥10♦
Juan Pardo: J♣J♠
Pardo was ahead with his jacks, but would need to fade a lot of outs to eliminate Auzoux.
The J♦ turn improved Pardo to a set, but the K♥ river gave Auzoux a winning flush for the double up.
