Sitbon Spikes the River to Double Through Higgins
Level 10
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Julien Sitbon had already four-bet shoved for his last 66,500 on the button against Simon Higgins, who called from the small blind to put Sitbon at risk.
Julien Sitbon: A♦J♣
Simon Higgins: K♠Q♦
The 5♣Q♣10♦ flop vaulted Sitbon into the lead with a pair of queens and Sitbon began getting up from his seat after the 3♥ fell on the turn.
However, the A♠ river paired Sitbon's ace for the double up and he sat back down.
