Lehut Sits Down, Immediately Makes Quads to Double

Jean-Vincent Lehut had just joined the action a few hands prior and was involved quickly on the Q♠8♥7♣ flop when he check-called a bet of 13,000 from his only opponent in the hand, Nozomu Shimizu.

The 3♣ fell on the turn, and both players checked to the 8♠ river. Lehut jammed all-in for 66,000, and Shimizu took a few moments before making the call.

Lehut tabled 8♣8♦ for quad eights, which got a chuckle out of Shimizu who showed 10♠7♠.

Only a few moments later, Shimizu was seen walking out of the tournament area.

Daubaris Busts Zarghami with Top Two

Emad Zarghami opened from early position to 5,500 and got called by Deividas Daubaris in the small blind.

After it checked to him, Zarghami led out for 5,000 on the 5♣A♠4♥ flop and got called.

A J♥ hit the turn, and the Lithuanian checked it again to Zarghami, who made it 12,500. Daubaris raised to 28,000, but Zarghami made the call.

The 2♠ completed the board and Daubaris shoved all in, having his opponent covered. The Australian used up four time banks while deciding whether or not to call for his tournament life - with around 100,000 chips left. He eventually did call and saw the bad news, with Daubaris' A♦J♦ beating his A♥Q♣.

Helppi Reenters After Being Outkicked

Andras Nemeth open-raised from the button before Juha Helppi three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Nemeth put in the call, leading to a 2♠J♥9♥ flop being dealt.

Helppi checked to Nemeth, who put in a bet of 15,000 chips. Helppi then raised to 75,000, over half his stack, and Nemeth shrugged as he shoved. Helppi made a quick call and the cards went on their backs.
