Flop Action Sees Lankinen Go Broke

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A modest pot of 4,500 chips was in the middle of the table, along with a flop of 2Q7. Avihai Smadga had put 2,500 chips more in the pot from the cutoff before Tommi Lankinen raised all-in to 11,600.

Andraz Gognjavec then three-bet to 23,400, his entire stack. Smadga asked for a count but elected to fold his hand once he received it, leaving the other two players to battle it out.

Tommi Lankinen: K10
Andraz Gognjavec: KQ

Lankinen paired his ten on the 10 turn, giving him some outs in addition to his flush draw. However, Gognjavec's top pair would hold on the 6 river, and he was shipped the pot while Lankinen quickly headed to the exit.
