Logarzo Fails to Make First Break
Level 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Giovanni Logarzo pushed in his last 52,000 chips from the cutoff and was looked up by Tamer Kamel on the button, who had the covering stack.
Giocanni Logarzo: A♦3♣
Tamer Kamel: K♥Q♦
Kamel flopped the better pair on K♠4♥3♦. Neither player improved on the J♥6♥ runout, which meant that Logarzo was forced to leave the tournament area.
Kamel, on the other hand, had quadrupled the stack he started Day 2 with in the first three levels.
