Farkas Snap-Calls Saout Out of the Tournament

The pot stood at 6,000 in a blind versus blind confrontation with the board reading JK44.

Antoine Saout, in the small blind, checked the action to Peter Farkas, in the big blind. Farkas bet out 3,500 and Saout check-raised to 10,600. Farkas made the call.

The river landed the 9 and Saout emptied the clip, moving all in for 19,500. Farkas snap-called.

Drake Left on Fumes After Doubling Markakis

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Konstantinos Markakis opened for 1,700 chips from early position and David Drahan called from the cutoff. Ian Drake then jammed 16,100 from the button and Markakis called for 12,700 total.

Dahan quickly got out of the way and the players' cards were revealed.

Drake flopped a wheel draw on 435, but he would not hit any of his outs on the 77 runout. He was left with just four big blinds to try and spin up on his second bullet.

Meisser Cracks Asgoudakis' Aces

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Following an open raise to 2,100, Emmanouil Asgoudakis called and then Marco Meisser three-bet to 6,500. The original raiser folded and Asgoudakis called.

The flop came 9K3. Asgoudakis checked, Meisser bet 3,100, and Asgoudakis check-raised to 9,000. Meisser shoved all in and Asgoudakis called with the shorter stack of 19,700.

Asgoudakis flipped over KQ for a pair of kings, but Meisser showed AA for pocket aces.

The turn, however, fell the Q to give Asgoudakis two pair. The river was a blank, the 6. Meisser held to win the pot and double up his stack.

Aces Spell the End for Khamidov

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With 28,000 chips in the pot, Till Siegrist put Komil Khamidov all-in for his final 15,000 on a completed board of 7J286. Khamidov thought it over for several minutes before putting in a call.

Siegrist showed 109 for the nuts, leaving Khamidov's AA cracked on the table as he left the tournament area.
