Fernandez Gets Paid with Quads
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Two players saw the Q♣6♥6♣10♥ turn, and Mario Trattou checked before Javier Fernandez bet 8,000 into the pot of about 14,000. Trattou called.
The K♠ fell on the river, and Trattou took the lead, dropping six chips across the line for a bet of 6,000. Fernandez responded with a raise to 48,000, causing Trattou to almost jump out of his chair, "Big raise," he said, "You have a full house?"
After ponding for about 20 seconds Trattou made the call.
Fernandez tabled 6♠6♦.
"Quads, F*** me sideways," Trattou concluded as he pitched his cards into the muck.
