Gicovanu Applies Pressure

Action was picked up on the flop of 3♣5♠5♥ where Pavlos Xanthopoulos in the big blind check-called a bet from Marius Gicovanu from early position.

The 9♦ turn was checked around and the dealer flipped ther 6♦ river. Xanthopoulos led for 85,000 and Gicovanu went into the tank.

He decided to raise to over 400,000 and Xanthopoulos quickly folded.
