Michel Karim on the button had Alessandro Minasi in the big blind covered when the latter moved all in on 9♥9♦4♥.
Karim made the call for around 20,000.

Catalin Moraru was all in preflop for around 40,000 against Andrii Derzhypilskyi, who had him covered as the players flipped their cards.

The board ran out 2♥A♥3♦5♠Q♦ to give Derzhypilskyi a pair of aces on the flop. He won the pot and Moraru was eliminated from the tournament.
Alejandro Lococo opened to 2,700 from the button and was called by Mercedes Osti in the small blind and by Max Neugebauer in the big blind.
All three of them checked on a flop of 3♥8♠J♥. However, after Osti checked on the turn J♠, Neugebauer bet 6,500. Lococo called, but Osti quickly check-raised to 25,000.
Neugebauer folded, and so did Lococo, who revealed K♥K♣. Osti then asked the dealer to reveal one of her cards, and he turned over the J♦ for trips.
Thanks to this pot, her stack keeps growing and now reaches 220,000 chips.
Eric Tsai opened the button to 2,700 and faced a three-bet from Kirill Burtin in the big blind to 10,200.
Tsai paused for a moment before announcing all in for 49,400.
Burtin mucked his hand instantly and Tsai scooped the pot.
The tournament director stopped the clock as the end of the day is approaching. Five more hands will be played before wrapping up tonight.
Peter Jaksland opened from the cutoff to 2,600 and Niklas Astedt defended the big blind.
The flop of 10♥8♠2♣ was checked by both players and the 7♠ was dealt on the turn.
Astedt fired 4,200 and Jaksland called.
The K♣ river drew another bet from Astedt, this time sizing up to 16,500.
After a moment in the tank, Jaksland folded, leaving Astedt with the pot.
Duco ten Haven raised to 2,400 from under the gun, Toni Kaukua called in late position, and the button also called.
The flop came 7♠5♦Q♠. Ten Haven checked and Kaukua bet 3,500. The button folded and Ten Haven check-raised to 11,700. Kaukua folded and Ten Haven took the pot.
Hussein Abud raised to 3,500 from middle position, Thomas Clack three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind, and Abud called.
The flop came J♣8♣2♥. Clack bet 2,500, Abud moved all in, and Clack called off the rest of his stack for 20,900. Abud showed 4♦4♠ for a pair of fours and Clack had A♣A♠ for a pair of aces.
The turn came 3♥ and the river was the J♠. Clack held with his aces to win the pot and double up his stack late in the day.
As the final hands of the night were being played, tensions were already high at Table 12 from the previous hand where Michele Nizzardelli won a pot after a controversial check on the river.
Nizzardelli was covering the short stack of Ghattas Kortas, who was all in and at risk. Nizzardelli three-bet with A♠K♣ and was called by Kortas, who turned over 10♠10♥.
Nizzardelli hit a pair immediately on the K♦4♥7♥ flop, holding through the Q♣J♠ runout to earn a second straight pot. Kortas was eliminated but was visibly angry at the situation. He walked behind Nizzardelli, removed the Italian's hat and began to walk away.
Nizzardelli reacted by pushing Kortas in the back. Kortas stumbled forward, turned around and walked back towards Nizzardelli, who put his hands up as if to challenge Kortas.
The two were then standing face to face when Nizzardelli threw a headbutt that caught Kortas on the bridge of the nose and knocked him to the floor. Kortas was startled and began asking other players if his face was alright. Security was called, escorting Nizzardelli out of the tournament room.
His stack was immediately removed from the table and Nizzardelli was disqualified. Both Nizzardelli and Kortas were further disciplined by PokerStars.
