Alexander Grotegut opened to 300 from the button. Juan Pardo in the small blind folded, but Andreas Werner defended from the big blind.

Grotegut continued with a bet of 300 on the 872 flop. But Werner check-raised to 800. Grotegut looked at the board, and after a few seconds, he re-raised to 2,200.

However, this time, it was too much for Werner, who eventually folded.

Tuscano Wins Big Pot With Kings

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Nils Pudel check-called a bet from Veronica Tuscano on the 610Q flop, leading to a 5,000 chip pot being in the middle when the 3 turn fell.

Pudel then checked again before Tuscano made a bet of 3,500, which Pudel called. The A river went check-check and Pudel showed KQ for a pair of queens.

Tuscano had the better hand with KK for a pair of kings and raked in the early pot.

Le Bon check called a bet of 2,500 from Virlanuta on the 7 turn.

On the K river, Le Bon tapped the table, allowing Virlanuta to bet 8,500.

Le Bon called and tabled A8 for trip eights and Virlanuta tabled 69 for a straight.

Bastian Herholz on the button fired a bet of 7,500 into a sizeable pot.

The bet left Alexander Wahl in the tank, but ultimately decided to fold his hand.

Jongwook Lee mucked his hand after the Wahl folded, leaving Herholz with healthy pot early on.

Kury Avoids Early Disaster

Martin Kury and Igor Zolotukhin were heads up to the river on Q105K8. With 7,500 chips already in the pot, Kury checked from middle position and Zolotukhin fired a bet of 2,700 from the next seat over.

Kury threw in an immediate call, after which Zolotukhin tabled QQ for a set of queens. Zolotukhin showed AK for top pair, which was not good enough to take down the pot.

"What can I do?", lamented Kury, but thanks to the deep structure of the Main Event, he still had plenty of chips left to play with.

Conor O'Driscoll opened to 300 and received a call from Ramon Wicki on the big blind.

The flop was 283 and O'Driscoll continued for 600 only to be three bet by his opponent to 1,800. O'Driscoll thought about it for a few seconds then pushed his hand in the muck.

O'Driscoll is a Twitch streamer and qualified for the main event online via a last min satalite.

Laroche Takes from Silva

Heads-up on a flop of 386, Alexis Laroche in the big blind then Pablo Silva in the cutoff both checked.

They found the 5 on the turn, and Laroche led out for 1,000. Silva made the call. The 10 river then landed on the felt, with Laroche announcing "2,200".

Silva waited a few seconds, but eventually mucked his cards.

Sandvik Calls Time on Himself

Arriving on the river with a board of 782K4 spread on the table, Espen Sandvik fired a bet of 4,000 from the big blind into the pot of 8,500 chips.

Tudor Bartha Lazar sat in early position and threw in a raise to 13,500, which sent Sandvik deep into the tank. After a couple of minutes, he called the clock on himself.

Near the end of the countdown, Sandvik folded AK face-up, forfeiting the pot to Bartha Lazar.

Treccarichi Fires Three Barrels

At Danut Chisu's table, Walter Treccarichi opened to 300 from under the gun and was called by both players in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of 59A, and Treccarichi continued with a bet of 500. However, as his opponents didn't back down and called, Treccarichi fired a second barrel of 1,200 on the turn 3. This time, Nikolaos Iliakis check-folded from the small blind, but Jonathon Genovese Darling kept calling in the big blind.

The 10 came on the river, and after Genovese checked, Treccarichi bet 2,700, prompting Genovese to fold.
