Bertoli Doubles Through Mouwafi
Level 16
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ahmed Mouwafi limped first-to-act and action folded to Juarez Bertoli in the small blind, who called. Julien Mariani checked his option from the big blind.
Action checked to Mouwafi on the 5♠4♥2♥ flop and he bet 15,000. Only Bertoli called.
The 8♣ fell on the turn and Bertoli checked again. Mouwafi bet enough to put Bertoli all in for his last 21,000 and Bertoli immediately called.
Juarez Bertoli: 4♦4♣
Ahmed Mouwafi: Q♥8♥
Bertoli had flopped a set, but would need to fade Mouwafi's flush draw to score the double.
The 10♦ bricked out for Mouwafi and Bertoli doubled up.
