Bernardini Left Short After Losing Race
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
All of the chips went in the middle before the flop and Samir Dahdir was at risk for 38,600 against Gianluca Bernardini.
Samir Dahdir: A♣K♥
Gianluca Bernardini: 9♣9♠
It was a classic race until the flop came A♦K♠7♣, giving Dahdir top two pair. The 2♥ turn and 3♥ river were no help for Bernardini, leaving him with just a few big blinds.
