Adomkevicius Makes the Right Call

Jamil Wakil opened to 4,000 on the button and Aneris Adomkevicius defended his big blind.
Adomkevicius proceeded to check-call bets from Wakil on every street. First for 4,000 on the 7♦K♣A♦ flop, then for 8,500 on the 7♣ turn, and finally for 24,000 on the J♠ river.
Wakil could only table 10♠4♠ and Adomkevicius turned over A♠6♥ for a pair of aces to claim the pot.
Wakil was left with just 1,000 following the hand and busted shortly thereafter.
