Lin Gets Value with Trips
Level 10
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ren Lin opened the button to 2,500 and Yaroslav Ohulchanskiy called in the small blind before Igor Pihela three-bet to 6,900 from the big blind. Only Lin called.
On the J♣10♥10♦ flop, Pihela continued for 10,000 and Lin called.
The 6♣ fell on the turn. Pihela again bet 10,000, Lin min-raised to 20,000, and Pihela called.
The river was the Q♥. Pihela opted to lead for 15,000, Lin raised to 36,000, and Pihela called. Lin tabled K♦10♠ for flopped trips which were good enough to drag a sizeable pot late in the day.
