Vladimir Korzinin
Vladimir Korzinin

Leonard Maue raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Vladimir Korzinin three-bet to 15,000 on the button. Action folded back to Maue, who four-bet to 45,000. Korzinin called.

Korzinin called a 45,000 bet from Maue on the 564 flop and then checked after the A appeared on the turn.

Korzinin announced he was all in, sending Maue deep into the tank.

Maue used up a couple time extensions, but eventually decided to let his hand go and Korzinin collected the pot without showing.

Ladva Shoves the River

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was picked up on the 854 flop in a three-bet pot between Ottomar Ladva under the gun and Sam Greenwood on the button. Ladva checked to Greenwood, who continued for a chunky size of 38,000 and Ladva put in the call.

The turn was the 7. Ladva opted to lead on this card for 30,000 and Greenwood put in the call.

On the 2 river, Ladva used one time bank before he announced all in for 228,000, to the immediate displeasure of Greenwood, who immediately counted out his remaining time banks. After 90 seconds in the tank, Greenwood let it go and conceded the large pot to Ladva.

Korzinin Bets the Whole Way

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Vladimir Korzinin raised to 5,000 first to act and found one caller in Jules Dickerson in the big blind for a heads-up pot.

Dickerson proceeded to check-call bets from Korzinin on every street. First for 13,000 on the 338 flop, then for 27,000 on the 10 turn, and finally for 12,000 on the 8 river.

Korzinin turned over A10 and Dickerson sent his hand into the muck to send the sizable pot Korzinin's way.

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Vladimir Korzinin

Nick Petrangelo opened to 4,500 from under the gun before Markkos Ladev put in a three-bet next to act. When the action got to Vladimir Korzinin on the button, he cold four-bet to 30,000. Petrangelo contemplated his decision for a while before he opted to fold. Ladev jammed and Korzinin called off for 112,000 for his tournament life.

Vladimir Korzinin: QQ All in
Markkos Ladev: AK

It was the most classic of flips with Korzinin having the slight advantage. It stayed that way on the 642 flop. However, the A fell on the turn which vaulted Ladev into the lead. The A on the river was salt in the wound for Korzinin, who wished his opponents good luck as he exited the tournament.
