Dubanov Doubles as Both Players Make Trips
Level 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Bobby James raised to 160,000 from middle position and Vladislav Dubanov moved almost all in for 1,380,000 from late position, leaving a single 5,000 chip behind.
James went into the tank, apologising to players for the wait as he considered his decision, eventually making the call.
The flop came A♦A♠Q♠ and both players checked. The turn was the J♣ and James put out a bet. Dubanov threw his last chip in the middle and players revealed their cards.
James had A♣10♣ for trip aces, but Dubanov had A♥K♣ for trip aces with a higher kicker. The river was the 2♠ and Dubanov held to double up his stack.
