Nikola Gunchev was all in preflop with a short stack of 10,300 and was looked up by Adam Wagner in the big blind blind, who had the covering stack.

Gadzhiev Straightens Rashidi Out

Abdulgamid Gadzhiev opened to 2,200 first to act and Manesh Rashidi shoved for his last 3,500 from the small blind. Alexander Graf called cold from the big blind and Gadzhiev called as well.

Graf check-called a 3,700 bet from Gadzhiev on the 10Q3 flop, but check-folded facing an 8,000 barrel from Gadzhiev on the A turn.

The full board of 35562 was showing and Almeida's AxKx was no good against Betbese's AA, in a pot that most likely got all-in preflop.

Virlanuta Wins Pot With Higher Set

Marian Virlanuta had already moved all in with a short stack on the flop and had two callers as action went to the turn on a board of Q328.

Dauren Zhaparov checked and Aleksandr Lakhov bet 50,000. Zhaparov check-raised all in for not much more and Lakhov flicked in a chip to call.

Lakhov had 22 for a set of deuces, Virlanuta had 88 for a set of eights and Zhaparov mucked his hand.

The river came the 5 and Virlanuta won the pot to triple up, bringing his chip count back above starting stack. Lakhov won the side pot, while Zhaparov was eliminated.
