Koks Picks Off the Bluff

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a full board of 2KQ4Q, there were around 20,000 chips in the pot when Suleyman Yuce fired a bet of 11,000 into Andrey Koks. After some time in the tank, Koks seemed suspicious and finally made the call.

Yuce sheepishly turned over J10 for jack-high, but Koks had the winner with a pair of kings holding K6.

Tashatov Takes it Away on the Turn

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Lukas Zimblys and Illia Yarmolik both limped in before Dauren Tashatov made it 4,500 from the cutoff. When it got back to Zimblys, he folded, but Yarmolik called.

A flop of 339 saw Yarmolik check-call a bet of 3,000 from Tashatov, then the J dropped on the turn. Yarmolik checked again, then Tashatov fired a bet of 5,500. Yarmolik thought it over for a while but eventually tossed his hand away.

"Good fold," said Tashatov.

Lights Out for Lightbourne

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Daniyar Aubakirov

Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Iaran Lightbourne all-in for around 40,000 and at risk versus Daniyar Aubakirov.

Iaran Lightbourne: AK All in
Daniyar Aubakirov: QQ

It was the classic race, but Lightbourne was up out of his chair after the Q98 flop left him almost drawing dead bar a chop, versus his opponent's top set.

The 6 turn confirmed his fate, and the 2 river completed the board.

Ghossan Doubles via Fumagalli

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Georges Ghossan opened to 2,000 under the gun and Sidon Fumagalli defended his big blind.

On the AJ2 flop, Fumagalli check-called versus a bet of 2,000 from Ghossan.

The 4 turn followed the same pattern, this time in the face of a bet of 3,200 from Ghossan.

On the 7 river, bringing one card flush possibilities, Fumagalli took the betting lead and jammed for around 18,000, covering Ghossan's 11,000 behind. Ghossan made the snap-call.

Fumagalli grimaced as he turned over A6 for the six-high flush, but Ghossan had KK for the nut flush.

Demydenko Gets a Lifeline

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Mykhailo Demydenko shoved from the cutoff for 8,400 and Mikhail Kharitonov called from the small blind.

Mykhailo Demydenko: K7 All in
Mikhail Kharitonov : A8

Demydenko was behind but surged into the lead on the 7KJ flop, making two pair. The J flop did give Kharitonov some outs, but the 2 river was a brick.

Trevisani Shuts Down Savevski

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Samuli Hietala opened to 1,600, and was faced with a three-bet jam to 10,400 from Ilija Savevski in the next seat. Table big stack Riccardo Trevisani was in the big blind, and he rejammed, forcing out Hietala.

Ilija Savevski: KQ All in
Riccardo Trevisani: 55

Savevski needed some help from the board to win the race, but none arrived on the A9379 runout.
