Worthington-Leese Sends Savsa For an Early Shower

With around 50,000 chips already in the pot on a board of 9♠5♦Q♦7♠, Yueksel Savsa had checked it over to Leo Worthington-Leese, who fired a bet of 45,000. Savsa then put in a raise to around 100,000, and Worthington-Leese called.

A 4♠ dropped on the river and Savsa instantly shoved for around 150,000, and Worthington-Leese snap-called.

Savsa quickly tabled Q♥7♦ for two pair, but Worthington-Leese had that crushed with 8♠6♠ for a turned straight that improved to a flush on the river, to eliminate Savsa.

Tomasz Wisniewski opened the cutoff to 12,000 and Dumitru Pora three-bet from the small blind to 40,000. Wisniewski then four-bet to 82,000, leaving himself just 2,000 behind.

"I'll wait 30 seconds before I go all in," said Pora in an attempt to help Wisniewski make a pay jump. Pora then shoved, then almost immediately the clock was called on Wisniewski and a 30-second countdown was initiated. When the countdown got to 2 seconds remaining, Wisniewski called.

He was down to 50,000, which he promptly put in the middle. Worthington-Leese looked him up before Minguez quickly got out of the way.

"That's also a scorcher," Worthington-Leese noted.

The pair exchanged some banter before Spragg joined his fellow Red Spade Fintan Hand, who had busted some minutes earlier, on the rail.

Action folded to Pablo Brito on the button, who decided to size up with his open, pumping it up to 36,000. Nicolas Betbese was in the small blind, and he produced a three-bet to 78,000. After a long period of thought, Brito, with about 160,000 behind, just called.

On the 10♠7♦3♥ flop, Betbese took his time before moving all in with the covering stack, sending Brito into the tank. After around two minutes of thought, Brito made the call.
