Sebastien Compte Eliminated in 14th Place ($53,500); Mehdi Chaoui Eliminated in 13th Place ($64,200)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Mehdi Chaoui
Mehdi Chaoui

Shankui Li opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Mehdi Chaoui shoved for 380,000 from the small blind. Sebastien Compte then reshoved from the big blind for 360,000. Li got confirmation of the stacks then made the call, which put two players at risk.

Sebastien Compte: AQ All in
Mehdi Chaoui: AJ All in
Shankui Li: 66

Li had a good opportunity to eliminate two players in one swoop, and his pocket sixes kept their lead on the 810K flop, which also meant Compte & Chaoui swapped outs. The 9 turn added a few more outs for Chaoui, as any seven would give him a straight, but the 8 river meant Li's sixes held, which sent Compte and Chaoui to the payout desk.

As Chaoui had 20,000 more chips than Compte, he takes the higher place and the $10,700 pay jump!

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Shankui Li
Shankui Li

Sebastian Malec raised to 100,000 on the button and Shankui Li shoved for roughly 1,500,000 from the small blind. Malec snap-called.

Shankui Li: AK All in
Sebastian Malec: KK

Li had run into the kings of Malec and had to find an ace to stay alive. The board ran out clean for Malec as it came 87810J, and Li was sent to the cashier's desk in twelfth place.

Juan Pardo Eliminated in 11th Place ($77,000)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Juan Pardo made it 375,000 to go on the button and Daniel Myers shoved from the small blind. Once the big blind folded, Pardo called off his stack, which totaled around 650,000.

Juan Pardo: 66 All in
Daniel Myers: AA

It was unfortunate timing for Pardo to run into the aces, but he could see light at the end of the tunnel after the 453 flop gave him an open-ended straight draw. Myers improved to a set on the A turn, which also gave Pardo a flush draw, but the 3 was a brick, which sent the Spanish player out in eleventh.

Manuel Fritz Eliminated in 10th Place ($77,000)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Manuel Fritz
Manuel Fritz

Jelle Moene raised to 100,000 from the hijack and Manuel Fritz shoved for around 600,000 from the big blind. Moene called to put Fritz at risk.

Manuel Fritz : A9 All in
Jelle Moene : KQ

Fritz was the shortest stack left in the tournament and needed to hold for the event to remain ten-handed.

However, the flop of 298 gave Moene a flush and left Fritz needing running cards to win. The 7 turn meant Fritz was drawing dead as an inconsequential 3 hit the river, and Fritz was the event's tenth-place finisher.

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated in 9th Place ($92,400)

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 500,000 from middle position with roughly 150,000 behind. When it folded to Ryan Mandara on the button, he shoved for around 1,600,000. After the blinds folded, O'Dwyer called to put himself at risk.

Steve O'Dwyer: 66 All in
Ryan Mandara : 88

O'Dwyer's pair was dominated by Mandara, so he needed some help from the dealer to survive. The 7KQ flop gave O'Dwyer a flush draw, but the 5 turn and J river didn't give him any assistance, and he was the first player eliminated at the final table.

Niklas Astedt Eliminated in 8th Place ($110,900)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Niklas Astedt
Niklas Astedt

Niklas Astedt opened to 200,000 from the hijack and Ryan Mandara three-bet from the button to 580,000. Once the action got back to Astedt, he shoved for around 2,400,000, and Mandara rechecked his cards before he quickly called.

Niklas Astedt: JJ All in
Ryan Mandara: AA

Aces were not what Astedt wanted to see, but there were still five cards to come for him to try and swerve elimination. Unfortunately for Astedt, no help arrived and he was drawing dead by the time the turn card was dealt on the 7KKKQ runout, which left him out in eighth.

Daniel Myers Eliminated in 7th Place ($135,200)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Daniel Myers
Daniel Myers

Jelle Moene raised to 200,000 from middle position and Daniel Myers shoved for 250,000 from the cutoff. Stoyan Madanzhiev then moved all in from the big blind with a stack that covered both players. Moene had around 1,800,000 remaining and after burning through a time bank card, made the call.

Daniel Myers: 22 All in
Jelle Moene: AQ All in
Stoyan Madanzhiev: AJ

If Madanzhiev could find a jack, he would bust two players and the final table would be down to five players.

The dealer fanned out the flop of 59J to put Madanzhiev in the lead with top pair. The 3 turn didn't change anything, but the Q on the river meant Moene had more than doubled up with a pair of queens. Myers was out, and Madanzhiev sent around half of his stack over to Moene.

Ryan Mandara opened to 200,000 from the button, and Adrian Cazacu three-bet jammed from the big blind for around 1,400,000, with Mandara making the snap-call.

Adrian Cazacu: AK All in
Ryan Mandara: 88

Cazacu was behind in a race, and was drawing dead on the turn after the Q84Q10 runout gave Mandara a full house.

Lev Margolin
Lev Margolin

Short-stack Lev Margolin moved all in from the small blind for around 500,000 and was looked up by Sebastian Malec in the big blind.

Lev Margolin: A10 All in
Sebastian Malec: 109

Margolin had Malec dominated, but the Q83 flop gave Malec a gutshot, and sure enough the J rolled off on the turn, with the 2 completing the board.

Sebastian Malec raised to 240,000 from the button and Stoyan Madanzhiev shoved for roughly 1,000,000 from the small blind. Ryan Mandara then jammed for 5,100,000 out of the big blind and after Malec folded, the cards were revealed.

Stoyan Madanzhiev: A7 All in
Ryan Mandara: AK

Madanzhiev needed to find a seven to stay in the hunt for the trophy. However, the board ran out J610K6 to give Mandara the best hand with a pair of kings, and Madanzhiev was out in fourth.
