Thiemer Doubles Through Korzinin
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Frederik Thiemer kicked off the action with a raise to 1,600 from middle position, and Vladimir Korzinin called from the big blind.
On the 6♥A♣3♥ flop, Korzinin checked, and Thiemer followed up with a bet of 1,100. Without hesitation, Korzinin shoved all in. After a quick look at his cards, Thiemer called, and they went to a showdown.
Thiemer revealed K♥Q♥, chasing a flush, while Korzinin held K♠5♥ for just king-high.
The turn brought the 10♠, and the river the 8♠, sealing the double-up for Thiemer.
