Zhendong Li
Zhendong Li

With around 9,000 in the middle on a board of 35K7, Vidar Oie bet 3,200 from the big blind. Lukas Zaskodny folded in the hijack before Zhendong Li raised to 11,000 from the cutoff. After a bit of tanking, Oie called.

Oie checked the 2 river and Li shoved for Oie's remaining 19,300. Oie didn't take long to make the call and Li turned over 7x4x for just a pair of sevens. Oie showed K8 for top pair to take down the pot and double up.

Nashar's Fall

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Hassan Nashar
Hassan Nashar

After Hassan Nashar went all in and lost to Andrey Daniliuk in the previous hand, he found himself with just 4,100 chips left. In the under-the-gun position, he went all in blind. Daniliuk made the call, but no one else wanted to join the fray.

Daniliuk revealed A10, while Nashar hadn’t even looked at his cards yet, turning over AK.

The board ran out 5Q7AJ, and Nashar scored a crucial double-up.

In the next hand, Nashar found himself in the big blind and warned everyone at the table that he’d go all in again. Dmitry Gromov, sitting in the cutoff, boldly raised to 1,500. True to his word, Nashar pushed all his chips in, and Gromov called.

Hassan Nashar: 32All in
Dmitry Gromov: A7

The flop came down 636, giving Nashar a pair and putting him ahead.

But the turn brought the 5, giving Gromov plenty of outs for a flush or a straight. Nashar jokingly asked the dealer, “Give him a four or a heart.”

His wish was partially granted when the river showed the A, giving Gromov a better pair. With that, Nashar was eliminated and made his way to the registration desk, ready to give it another shot.

Aces Help Rantala to Double

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With around 11,000 in the middle on a board of 410Q, Cosmin-Ionut Nica bet 6,000 from the small blind and Juhani Rantala called from middle position.

When the 5 hit the turn, Nica bet 12,000 which was enough to put Rantala all-in. Rantala snap-called.

Juhani Rantala: AA All in
Cosmin-Ionut Nica: 87

Rantala was way ahead with aces but had to avoid Nica's gutshot straight draw. A safe 9 hit the river and Rantala had doubled.

Montagnolli Wins Rollercoaster Runout, Selles Left Stunned

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Daniel Montagnolli
Daniel Montagnolli

Daniel Montagnolli had his stack of over 30,000 in the middle in a coinflip situation against big-stacked Yoel Selles, and a rollercoaster runout ensued.

Daniel Montagnolli: AK All in
Yoel Selles: QQ

Montagnolli flopped an ace on the 5AQ board, but it also improved Selles to a set. A 5 on the turn did give Montagnolli an outside chance of winning the pot, but it was still Selles who was firmly in the driver's seat. That was until the A dropped on the river, which gave Montagnolli a full house and earned him a double-up.
