Nurmuhammedov Snaps Off lazaridis

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On the table with Lucien Cohen, Ioannis Lazaridis open-jammed his button, covering both blinds. Big blind Parahat Nurmuhammedov immediately called off his stack of 37,000, after which the cards were tabled.

Parahat Nurmuhammedov: A♦9♣ All in
Ioannis Lazaridis: 10♥9♠

Both players paired up on the 10♦J♦A♠ flop. The Q♦ turn brought some outs for Lazaridis, but the 3♥ river remained clean for Nurmuhammedov to double up with his top pair.

Davor Bojovic committed his final 60,000 or so to the pot preflop and was looked up by Alessandro Pichierri.

Davor Bojovic: Q♥J♥ All in
Alessandro Pichierri: A♥Q♠

Bojovic was dominated, and when nothing changed on the 4♦8♠5♣9♣7♣ board, he took his leave. Pichierri, meanwhile, chipped up to two and a half times the average stack.

Fahriogullari Hero-Calls Yang to Rail

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Daniel Yang in the small blind and Hasan Fahriogullari in the hijack were battling for a pot of 100,000. On a completed board of 3♦7♠Q♦4♥10♣, Yang jammed all in for 38,000, sending Fahriogullari into the tank.

Eventually, he slammed in a call. Yang stood up as he tabled 5♠5♥ for a pair of fives. Fahriogullari did have him beat, but not by as much as Yang might have expected.

He turned over 6♦6♣ for just one pair higher, eliminating Yang from the tournament.

Dwan Bluffs Into Radziewicz

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Arriving on a completed board of A♦4♥7♦3♠7♥, Jamie Dwan, under the gun, put all his chips in the middle to put Wojciech Radziewicz all in in the hijack.

Prior to Dwan's shove, the pot was 50,000. Radziewicz thought for a few moments and then called off his stack of 30,000.

Dwan could only show K♠10♦ for king-high. Radziewicz's call with A♥10♥ for top pair was correct and he doubled up.

Top Pair Enough for Betbese

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nicolas Betbese had raised in the cutoff when Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Betbese called to the 5♠7♥K♥ flop, where he check-called the continuation-bet of 7,000 from Pateychuk.

The 4♥ turn and Q♥ river were checked through. Betbese showed K♦J♣ for a pair of kings, enough to take the pot as Pateychuk quickly mucked his cards.

"Ratman" Claims Another Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Lucien Cohen had opened from middle position when Jack Drummond tossed in his stack of 18,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Cohen, who quickly called.

Jack Drummond: 9♠9♥ All in
Lucien Cohen: A♣4♠

Drummond had a solid lead with his nines, but it dissipated on the 8♥A♠3♦ flop. Cohen's pair of aces sent out Drummond as the 5♦7♦ runout changed nothing.
