Top Pair Enough for Betbese

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nicolas Betbese had raised in the cutoff when Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Betbese called to the 57K flop, where he check-called the continuation-bet of 7,000 from Pateychuk.

The 4 turn and Q river were checked through. Betbese showed KJ for a pair of kings, enough to take the pot as Pateychuk quickly mucked his cards.

Dwan Bluffs Into Radziewicz

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Arriving on a completed board of A4737, Jamie Dwan, under the gun, put all his chips in the middle to put Wojciech Radziewicz all in in the hijack.

Prior to Dwan's shove, the pot was 50,000. Radziewicz thought for a few moments and then called off his stack of 30,000.

Dwan could only show K10 for king-high. Radziewicz's call with A10 for top pair was correct and he doubled up.

Fahriogullari Hero-Calls Yang to Rail

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Daniel Yang in the small blind and Hasan Fahriogullari in the hijack were battling for a pot of 100,000. On a completed board of 37Q410, Yang jammed all in for 38,000, sending Fahriogullari into the tank.

Eventually, he slammed in a call. Yang stood up as he tabled 55 for a pair of fives. Fahriogullari did have him beat, but not by as much as Yang might have expected.

He turned over 66 for just one pair higher, eliminating Yang from the tournament.
