Samuel Ju open-jammed his stack of 38,000 under the gun and was called by Mustafa Ercan in the big blind.
Samuel Ju: A♥J♥
Mustafa Ercan: 6♥6♣
The 7♣5♣Q♥ flop posed no threat to Ercan's sixes, but the 5♥ turn brought Ju a flush draw. The 8♦ river saw none of his outs come in, however, and Ju was eliminated.
Marcelo Manfredini pushed in his stack of 37,000 from the cutoff and was called by Oleg Semionov in the button. Karen Nazarian thought about it in the big blind but ultimately folded, leading to a heads up showdown.
Marcelo Manfredini: A♥J♥
Oleg Semionov: A♦9♣
Manfredini paired up on the 3♥7♣8♠J♠K♠ board to secure his double-up to 20 big blinds.

The action was caught on a flop of 3♣K♦4♥, where Ryan Mandara checked from under the gun to Brandon Sheils in middle position. Sheils then bet 7,500, which Mandara raised to 19,500.
Sheils called to the 3♠ turn, where he called a 13,000 follow-up bet from Mandara. The K♥ river then completed the board. Mandara piled in a bet of 32,000, sending Sheils into the tank.
Eventually, he had the clock called on him. Near the end of his countdown, he voluntarily folded his hand as the pot was awarded to Mandara.
Tjan Tepeh got his stack of 100,000 in from the cutoff against Sergi Reixach in the hijack and was at risk.
Tjan Tepeh: Q♠Q♣
Sergi Reixach: 10♥10♦
The 8♠5♥J♦ flop was a safe one for Tepeh, but the 10♣ turn saw Reixach hit his set. The 8♣ upgraded him to a full house as he ended up with around a double-average stack.
The 80 remaining players have been sent on their final 20-minute break of the night.
When they return, they will play down to the 61 players who will be in the money before they bag up for Day 2.
