Sebastian Gahl raised to 60,000 under the gun. The action folded to Michele Guerrini in the big blind, who defended. Guerrini check-called Gahl's continuation-bet of 45,000 on the 9♥8♦A♣ flop before the 10♦ fell on the turn.
Guerrini checked again, prompting Gahl to bet 80,000. After a while, Guerrini jammed all in. Gahl had 175,000 behind, but he quickly folded to save himself his six big blinds.
One hand later Gahl was seen exiting the tournament area with his payout.
Aleksandr Burov raised to 60,000 from middle position, Romain Retiere three-bet to 175,000 from the hijack and Darius-Valentin Neagoe, in the cutoff, cold four-bet jammed for 545,000. Burov tanked for some time before folding, while Retiere made the call.
As the cards were tabled, Burov sounded pained as he told the table he'd folded ace-king.
