The flop of 6♠5♦10♣ was checked around, as was the A♠ turn. The Q♠ was checked by the blinds and Laasonen fired 1,500. Muradov called and Paunescu folded. Laasonen took the pot with A♦4♣ and Muradov mucked.
PokerStars listened to feedback from female poker players on how to draw women to the game, and now the poker site is responding.
The upcoming PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas festival will feature a $330 buy-in Women's Event on Nov. 5. Notably, the event has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool attached.
Last year's NAPT Women's Event had a $360 price tag and drew 94 entrants for a prize pool of $28,200. That means PokerStars is expecting this year's event to be an even greater success.
The Women's Event will get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time on Nov. 5 and allows for unlimited reentry. The event will feature 30-minute levels and will see players starting with stacks of 30,000.
Arthur Thiriart opened from under the gun to 1,200. Krum Polihronov called from early position. Grzegorz Kozieja defended the big blind.
Thiriart check-called a bet of 1,500 on the flop 10♥6♦5♥ from Polihronov. Kozieja folded. Both players checked the 6♣ after taking some time in the tank. Thiriart then led for 5,500 on the Q♣ river and Polihronov called quickly. He had 7♠7♣ and Thiriart had A♥9♠ for a bluff.
Aleksandr Kirichenko raised from under the gun to 1,300, the cutoff called and Roman Timergazin three-bet to 6,500, from the small blind. Kirichenko called and the cutoff folded.
The A♣6♠3♦ flop saw Timergazin continue for 3,500. Kirichenko was undettered.
The Q♠ turn checked through to the 10♣ on the river. Timergazin checked again and then folded to a wager of 18,700 from Kirichenko.
Ihar Soika had a raise of 3,200 out in the middle, Boris Angelov reraised to 8,500, then Soika moved all in for around 30,000. Angelov made the call and was at risk as players flipped their cards.

The board ran out K♠J♣4♦5♦9♦ and Soika pulled ahead by hitting a set of jacks on the flop. He held to win the pot and Angelov was eliminated.
Alisa Sibgatova raised from early position, Nikola Gunchev three-bet to 3,500 from the cutoff and Sibgatova made the call.
The 2♣8♠3♣ flop saw Sibgatova play in flow. Gunchev bet out a sizable wager of 4,500 and Sibgatova called.
The 7♥ turn saw a second check from Sibgatova. Gunchev bet out 10,500. Sibgatova tanked for some time before responding with a raise, moving all in for around 37,000. Gunchev snap-folded.

Zhendong Li, in the big blind, checked the action to Aleksandr Kirichenko, in the hijack. Kirichenko bet out 3,600 and Li check-raised to 12,500. Kirichenko chose to make the call.
The 9♦ river saw Li place a bet of 35,000, enough to put Kirichenko all in for his effective stack of 28,400. Kirichenko, pained by his decision, thought for several minutes before finally making the call for his tournament life.

Florian Gaugusch raised from the button and Timothy Friese three-bet to 7,200 from the small blind, which Gaugusch called.
The flop came 2♦7♥3♠ and Friese continued for 4,200, which Gaugusch called. The turn was the 7♣ and Friese led out again for 9,000. Gaugusch called again.
The river came the 8♣ and Friese moved all in for 24,000. Gaugusch made the call. Friese had A♦Q♥ for a bluff and Gaugusch turned over J♥J♦ for a pair of jacks, two pair with the sevens on board. He won the pot and Friese was eliminated.
