Throughout October, PokerNews will be running daily Added Value MTTs in which the winner shall receive a tournament ticket, of $11, for winning the MTT and this is on top of the prizepool itself. Buyins are an affordable $1.10 and there are also Leaderboard prizes for the top 10 finishers at the end of the month. Any MTT in which registration closes with over 30 players, PokerNews will double the 1st place ticket, so the incentive is there to get all of your poker playing buddies involved and get even more value.

Fernandez Claims Pot on River

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Leonid Logunov raised to 400 from late position, Gonzalo Fernandez called on the button, Alisa Sibgatova called in the small blind, and Ivan Pavlov called in the big blind.

All four players checked it back on the QK4 flop. The turn came the K and action checked to Logunov, who made a bet of 400. Fernandez raised to 1,600 and only Logunov made the call.

The river was the 5 and Logunov checked, prompting Fernandez to fire out a bet of 4,600. Logunov went into the tank, asking his opponent whether he would check a king on the flop before shrugging his shoulders and folding his hand, giving Fernandez the pot.

Nikolai Mamut rasied to 400 from middle position, receiving calls from Anton Markov and Denis Zelenkin, on the button and in the big blind respectively.

The action checked to Markov, who took the lead for 800 on the 369. Zelenkin called and Mamut check-raised to 3,000. Markov folded and Zelenkin called.

The 7 turn checked through to the 2 river. Zelenkin tanked before producing a sizeable bet of 8,100. Mamut chose to pitch his cards into the muck.

Cazacu Runs Into Kings to Lose Last of Chips
