Dukic Makes Aces-Up, Lukovic Busts

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Samir Moukawem open-raised from late position and Nenad Dukic three-bet to 9,500 from the button. Nemanja Lukovic called in the small blind and was all in for less than the raise, then Moukawem made the call.

The flop came 9210, prompting both Moukawem and Dukic to check back. The turn was the 9 and Moukawem bet 10,000, which Dukic called.

The river was the Q and Moukawem checked. Dukic bet 15,000 and Moukawem folded.

Dukic turned over AA for a pair of aces, two pair with the nines on board. Lukovic's hand was quickly scooped into the muck by the dealer, but in any case he was eliminated from the tournament.

Xiaohu Liu

Xiaohu Liu raised to 2,500 from the hijack and Espen Oeye called on the button.

The 7A2 flop saw Liu continue for 5,000. Oeye went into a lengthy tank before making the call.

The 8 turn saw Liu size up to 11,000. Oeye elected to move all in for 48,100 and Liu had a decision.

"Gamble!" Liu exclaimed as he chose to make the call.

Espen Oeye: J7 All in
Xiaohu Liu: J9

Oeye seemed surprised his pair of sevens were best. The J failed to complete Liu's flush or straight draw and Oeye doubled up.

Montes Calls Song's River Bluff

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was on the river on a board of 4A9J4 and Bernat Capdevila Montes checked. Yunkyu Song made a large bet of 40,000 into an already inflated pot and Montes went into the tank.

Eventually, Montes made the call and turned over J9 for two pair. Song had K10 for a missed flush draw that he'd turned into a bluff.

"Nice call, makes sense," said a neutral player as Montes scooped in the pot.
