Fuchs Delivers a Double Knockout

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Tom Fuchs
Tom Fuchs

On a flop of 272, both Madhi Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi and Morten Klein checked to Tom Fuchs, who fired a small bet of 2,200. Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi then raised to 6,000, and Klein shoved for 20,400. Fuchs called, and Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi called.

A K dropped on the turn and Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi checked, then Fuchs bet 6,500. Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi called.

When the 3 landed on the river, Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi checked again and Fuchs shoved. Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi had around 26,500 remaining in his stack and after a short time, put them all into the pot.

Klein flipped Q7 for a pair of sevens, Lotfalizaadehmehrabadi held QQ, but Fuchs had them both beat with a full house holding 77, and scooped the pot, which eliminated two players.

Rosich Stacks Isaia

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
David Rosich
David Rosich

Alessio Isaia opened to 2,500 from hijack, and received a call from Marius Kudzmanas in the small blind. David Rosich was in the big blind, and he produced a three-bet to 12,200.

Isaia took quite a bit of time thinking, before he pumped it up further to 35,000. Kudzmanas dumped his cards, but Rosich made the call.

On the 733 flop, Rosich checked to Isaia. He took some time counting out his chips, before moving all in for around 60,000, with Rosich's calling chip almost beating him into the middle.

Alessio Isaia: AK All in
David Rosich: QQ

Rosich had set the trap perfectly, and Isaia needed to spike the turn or river to survive. However the 9 turn and 7 river were bricks to send a massive pot to Rosich.

Reichenstein Spikes River to Bust Tepeh

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Vytautas Semaska opened to 2,400 from the cutoff, and was called by Uri Reichenstein on the button. Tjan Tepeh was in the small blind, and he three-bet jammed for 13,700.

Semaska quickly got out of the way, but after asking for a count, Reichenstein made the call with the covering stack.

Tjan Tepeh: AK All in
Uri Reichenstein: KQ

Tepeh had his opponent dominated, and seemed set for the double-up after the A94 flop gave him top pair.

However the 7 turn spelled danger, giving Reichenstein a flush draw, and sure enough the 9 rolled off on the river to give Reichenstein the flush and send Tepeh packing.

Tepeh didn't seem too devastated to see his day of poker come to an end, saying "I'm off to the party," as he headed off to the PokerStars Players Party, which is taking place this evening.

Milos Skrbic
Milos Skrbic

Milos Skrbic made it 2,400 from the hijack and Ivan Banic three-bet from the small blind to 12,000. When it got back to Skrbic, he shoved, and Banic snap-called for his stack of around 50,000.

Ivan Banic: AK All in
Milos Skrbic: QQ

It was an all-too-familiar flip which favored the pocket queens after the flop of 896 didn't offer much help to Banic. The J dropped on the turn, and the 8 river sealed Banic's elimination in the penultimate level of the day.

Yevhen Pavlenko and Guoliang Wei were in the midst of a raising battle and Wei had a reraise of 17,000 out in the middle. Pavlenko responded by moving all in for around 80,000 and Wei called. Players had quite similar stacks, but Wei was covered as the cards were turned.

Guoliang Wei: QQ All in

The flop came KQ7 and the table let out a collective groan as Wei spiked a set of queens. The turn was a blank, the 5, but the river was the A to give Pavlenko a set of aces.

Lin Dodges a Ton of Outs to Stack Iakovlev

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

There were already around 10,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 578 when both Ren Lin and Mikhail Iakovlev checked to Serhat Tok, who fired a bet of 3,000. Lin called, then Iakovlev put in a raise. Tok quickly folded, and Lin shoved, which gave Iakovlev a decision for his remaining stack of around 40,000. After thinking for just a few moments, Iakovlev put himself at risk.

Mikhail Iakovlev: A9 All in
Ren Lin: J8

Lin's pair was in the lead, but Iakovlev was the favorite to win the hand with his overcards, straight draw, and flush draw. Nonetheless, hitting those cards is part of the game and both the K turn and 2 river were brick city for Iakovlev, who made his way to the exit.

"Never fold a pair. Gamble, gamble," said Lin.

"It's very hard to hit a pair," he added.
