Bocharov Takes Four-Bet Pot

Nikolay Ponomarev opened to 1,600 from the cutoff, only to be faced with a three-bet to 4,800 from Andrzej Powalka on the button. Artem Bocharov was in the small blind, and he took some time to think before producing a cold four-bet to 12,500.

Ponomarev got out of the way, but Powalka called to see a flop, which came K♠Q♦7♣. Bocharov continued with a bet of 5,900, and Powalka called.

The J♦ hit on the turn, and both players elected to check their option.

The 10♣ river completed the board, bringing one-card straight possibilities. Bocharov fired out a bet of 13,600, and Powalka quickly released his cards to the dealer.

Yaghmai Wins Three-Bet Pot

Erwin Wiechers raised to 1,600 from the button and picked up a call from the small blind before Nariman Yaghmai three-bet to 6,800. Only Wiechers made the call and action went to the flop.

The flop came 5♥J♠6♣ and Yaghmai continued for 5,500, which Wiechers called. The turn was the 9♣ and Yaghmai sized up to 16,200. This proved too much for Wiechers, who made the fold and gave Yaghmai the pot.

Action was on the river on a board of 6♦5♦K♥7♦7♣ and Felix Schneiders had a bet of 9,000 out in the middle. Serghei Lisii moved all in for around 28,000 more and sent Felix Schneiders deep into the tank.

With an anguished look on his face, Schneiders mucked his hand, giving Lisii the pot but preserving his stack ready for another battle.

The J♥ turn was checked through. On the 9♣ river, Yarosh led out with a bet of 7,500, and that forced a quick fold from Pavlenko.

With around 15,000 chips in the middle on a board of 3♦10♠8♦, Mikhail Shalamov and Iurii Okolovich checked it over to Marius-Catalin Pertea, who fired 5,700. Shalamov then put in a raise to 13,200, which got a quick fold out of Okolovich, but Pertea called.

A 7♦ dropped on the turn and Shalamov immediately shoved, which gave Pertea a decision for his remaining stack of around 20,000. After thinking it over for a while, Pertea decided to put himself at risk, and called.

Pertea had turned two pair but was trailing to the flopped set of Shalamov, who only needed to fade a ten on the river to scoop the pot. Pertea was hoping to hit that two-outer, but it never came as the 9♣ filled out the board, which meant he was eliminated.

In the first hand, with around 13,000 in the pot and the board showing 2♥4♠10♠3♣2♠, it was a classic blind versus blind battle. Fabian Gumz led out with a bet of 2,000, and Bogdan-Andrei Munteanu opted to call. Gumz revealed A♦10♦, which was enough to take down the pot.

In the very next hand, Hadi Khordbin opened the action from early position with a raise to 1,600, and Gumz decided to call from the button. Nils Pudel, sitting in the big blind, then decided to mix things up with a three-bet to 8,000, only for Gumz to call once more.

The flop came down 8♦7♠Q♠, and Pudel kept the pressure on with a bet of 6,000, which Gumz called again without hesitation.

Both players checked the Q♦ turn, and when the Q♣ landed on the river, Pudel checked once more. After some careful consideration, Gumz announced a hefty bet of 23,000. Pudel paused to reconsider his hand before ultimately folding, handing the pot over to Gumz.

Aliaksandr Shylko opened the hijack to 1,600 and Shukhrat Fayziev three-bet the cutoff to 5,300. When it got back to Shylko, he shoved for a little under 25,000, and Fayziev put in the call with a slightly covering stack.

"One time, two times?" joked Shylko in reference to how many times they should run it.

Shylko didn't have much to work with on the 10♠5♦9♥ flop, and the 6♦ turn left him with just two outs and one shot to hit. Unfortunately for the Belarusian player, the 3♥ dropped on the river, which sent him to the rail.

With that pot, Fayziev's stack jumped up to around 50,000.

On the 10♠7♠2♣ flop, Sarkis check-called versus a bet of 2,000 from Boatman.

The 5♠ rolled off on the turn, and Sarkis adopted a more aggressive approach, check-raising to 8,000 versus a 4,000 bet from Boatman. Boatman quickly called.

The 8♠ river completed the board, bringing one-card flush possibilities, and was checked through.

Sarkis confidently tabled K♦J♠ for the jack-high flush, but Boatman had Q♣Q♠ for the queen-high flush.
