Action was on the river on a board of 7♠9♦7♣3♠Q♥ with around 25,000 in the middle. Konstantin Voronin had moved all in and Saar Wilf was in the tank, carefully considering his move before making the call.
When he did call, Voronin showed A♥10♠ for a bluff and Wilf flipped over J♥J♦ for a pair of jacks, two pair with the sevens on board to win the pot.
"You can't have trips everytime," said Felix Schneiders, sitting in seat 8.
Aliaksandr Shylko has not been in his seat long before he got involved in a pot with Spain's Guillermo Sanchez Otero.
The board read 2♥6♥9♦, and with around 5,000 in the middle, Shylko bet 3,000, and Otero called.
A 4♣ fell on the turn and after a while, Shylko fired another bet of 6,700. This was enough to get the job done as Otero quickly folded, and Shylko took down the pot.
Bakhos Joumaa opened to 800 from early position and was faced with a three-bet to 2,200 by Michael Dwyer in the next seat. Action folded to Shakhabiddin Muradov in the big blind, who cold-called. Joumaa also came along for the ride.
Action was checked to Dwyer on the K♦10♠4♦ flop, and he fired out a bet of 2,100. Muradov produced a check-raise to 6,500, which persuaded Joumaa to fold, but after some thought, Dwyer made the call.
The 7♥ hit on the turn, and Muradov slid out a bet of 10,500. After around three minutes of thought, Dwyer tapped the table and sent his cards to the dealer.
The following players have busted their first entry in the Main Event. Late registration is still open all the way up until Day 2, but players can only fire a total of two bullets across all flights.

There were already around 12,000 chips in the pot on a full board of 2♠K♠7♦9♥J♣ when Sebastian Ting checked the river from the small blind, and Milos Petakovic fired a pot-sized bet of 12,500 from the button. Ting was contemplating how to proceed and after a while, he dropped in the call.
Petakovic then showed 9♠9♦, and Ting flashed the K♥ before he sent his cards into the muck.
"Stars nuts," remarked Taago Tamm, who is sat on the same table.
Maxim Brovko raised from the hijack to 500 and Ali Zebarjad defended from the big blind.
They went to a flop of 9♦9♠3♠ where Zebarjad check-called a bet of 500 from Brovko.
Zebarjad went into check-call mode again on the 4♦ turn when Brovko fired 1,800, then they both checked the 2♥ river to showdown.
Zebarjad showed 5♦5♥ for a pair of fives, and Brovko mucked his hand.
Arthur Thiriart opened to 500 from early position and received calls from Mark Smith in the cutoff, and Ivan Zabiiakin and Shankui Li in the blinds.
On the 7♠4♠2♠ flop, action was checked to Smith, who fired out a bet of 600. Zabiiakin produced a check-raise to 2,200, Li folded, and Thiriart pumped it up further to 4,500. Smith folded but, after some thought, Zabiiakin made the call.
On the 8♣ turn, Zabiiakin check-called versus a downsized bet of 3,000 from Thiriart.
The 7♥ river paired the board and was checked through. Zabiiakin showed K♠6♠ for the flopped king-high flush, and Thiriart mucked his hand.
With the pot sitting at around 15,600 and the board reading 8♠5♦Q♣2♣6♣, only two players remained in the hand: Lyudmil Ivanov in the under-the-gun position and Stanislaw Grodek in early position. Ivanov checked, keeping his options open, but Grodek wasn’t ready to slow down. With only 8,800 left in his stack, Grodek made the bold move and shoved all in, putting his tournament life on the line.
Ivanov was faced with a tough decision and went deep into the tank, weighing the possibility of giving up a decent-sized pot. The pressure was palpable as he considered his next move, with minutes ticking by. Ultimately, Ivanov decided to fold, allowing Grodek to continue his journey in the tournament.
Action was on the turn on a board of 8♦7♣9♠6♣ and Fouad Toujani bet 3,000. Jason Wheeler raised it to 8,000 and Toujani called.
The river was the 8♣ and Toujani shoved a stack of chips into the middle to put Wheeler all in.
Wheeler started talking it through. "Your story doesn't make sense," he said before eventually making the fold. Toujani raked in the pot.
