Mark Buckley opened to 2,000 from the hijack, only to be faced with a three-bet jam to 19,800 by Fiodor Martino on the button.
Walid Bou Habib was in the small blind, and he cold-called Martino's all in, with Buckley getting out of the way.

Sergei Varnaev opened to 2,000 from early position, and Monica Vaka defended her big blind.
On the 9♦9♣6♣ flop, Vaka check-called versus a bet of 1,700 from her opponent.
The 7♦ hit on the turn, and Vaka opted to lead with a bet of 3,500.
Varnaev wasn't perturbed by the unorthodox line, and produced a raise to 11,500, resulting in Vaka disposing of her hand relatively quickly.
Aylar Lie opened the action with a raise to 2,000 from the hijack, drawing calls from Felix Schneiders in the cutoff and Taago Tamm in the big blind.
Tamm checked the A♣Q♣A♠ flop, giving Lie the chance to fire a 2,000 continuation bet. Schneiders quickly folded, but Tamm stuck around with a call.
The 7♥ turn saw another check from Tamm, and this time Lie upped the pressure, betting 9,100. Without hesitation, Tamm called again.
When the 7♣ landed on the river, Tamm checked once more. Lie took her time, mulling over her options, but ultimately decided to check back. Tamm turned over A♥4♣ for a full house, aces full of sevens. Lie quietly mucked her cards.
“I was scared you’d shove,” Tamm admitted. Lie, with a grin, replied, “I was thinking about it,” realizing she may have missed a big opportunity.
Ahmed Abdellatif raised the cutoff to 2,200 and Luke Marsh called on the button before Davor Bojovic three-bet from the small blind to 11,900, leaving himself around 1,000 behind. Abdellatif then four-bet to 32,000, which got Marsh to fold, and Bojovic called off his last 1,000.

Abdellatif had a mountain of chips in front of him and managed to add more to his pile as he paired his ten on the 10♥2♠8♦2♦3♠ runout, which eliminated Bojovic.
Anze Smajd raised to 2,000 from late position and Hakim Zoufri moved all in from the next seat across for 12,400. Smajd made the call to put Zoufri at risk as the cards were turned.

The board ran out 4♥2♦K♥6♠9♥ and Smajd paired his king on the flop to get ahead. He held to win the pot and Zoufri was eliminated from the tournament.
There were already around 10,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 5♥7♠8♠ when both Ren Lin and Mikhail Iakovlev checked to Serhat Tok, who fired a bet of 3,000. Lin called, then Iakovlev put in a raise. Tok quickly folded, and Lin shoved, which gave Iakovlev a decision for his remaining stack of around 40,000. After thinking for just a few moments, Iakovlev put himself at risk.

Lin's pair was in the lead, but Iakovlev was the favorite to win the hand with his overcards, straight draw, and flush draw. Nonetheless, hitting those cards is part of the game and both the K♥ turn and 2♥ river were brick city for Iakovlev, who made his way to the exit.
"Never fold a pair. Gamble, gamble," said Lin.
"It's very hard to hit a pair," he added.
Artsiom Lasouski raised preflop from middle position and Vladimir Korzinin, who had been making friends and having fun at his table, moved all in without looking at his cards. Lasouski called to put him at risk.

The board ran out 5♠Q♠Q♣5♣4♥ and Korzinin did pick up a flush draw on the flop to give himself a chance to double up. In the end though, it was easy money for Lasouski, who held with his pocket kings to win the pot, eliminating Korzinin.
Daan Mulders started the action with a raise to 2,000 from the cutoff, and Andrew Hulme called from the small blind. Sitting in the big blind, Teun Mulder decided to shove his remaining 17,700. Mulders asked the dealer for a count and eventually made the call, while Hulme opted to fold, setting up a showdown.

Mulders was hoping for a flip but needed help from the board to bust Mulder. However, the board came down 7♥K♠10♦2♣Q♥, keeping Mulder’s pocket nines in the lead, allowing him to double up and stay in the game.
Pedro Fonseca raised to 2,000 from early position and Alessio Isaia three-bet to 6,100 from late position. Fonseca then moved all in for 17,000 and Isaia made the call with the bigger stack. Players flipped their cards.

The board ran out A♣4♥7♥9♠A♠ and Isaia paired his ace on the flop, further improving to trips on the river to win the pot. Fonseca was eliminated from the tournament.
Evgenii Ushakov raised from middle position to 2,200 and got called by Stanislaw Grodek in the hijack, Razvan Sabau in the cutoff, Monica Vaka on the button, & Ildar Tashliyev in the big blind.
All five players checked the J♣2♥A♠ flop to the 5♦ turn, where Tashliyev checked and Ushakov fired 2,500. Grodek called, Sabau folded, Vaka called, and Tashliyev folded.
The 2♣ dropped on the river and Ushakov checked, then Grodek fired a tiny bet of 2,000. Vaka thought for a while before she called, and Ushakov folded.
At showdown, Grodek tabled A♣7♣, and Vaka had the same hand with A♥7♥, which meant they chopped the pot.
"I was trying to induce. I thought my ace was always good," said Grodek.
