Fast Trips Up Helou in Blind Battle

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

In a classic blind vs. blind battle, Dietrich Fast raised 400 from the small blind, and Mark Helou called in the big blind.

The flop came down 22Q, and Fast continued with a small bet of 300, which Helou called.

On the 6 turn, Fast kept the pressure on with a larger bet of 1,500, and Helou stuck around with another call.

When the K hit the river, Fast went big, firing 6,500. Helou called quickly, but Fast revealed 52 for trips, while Helou's AxKx two pair wasn’t enough. Fast scooped a solid pot, leaving Helou shaking his head in frustration.

The A hit on the turn, and was checked through.

The river brought the 7, and Zainullin check-called versus a bet of 3,000 from Bacon, but was shown the bad news when Bacon tabled 109 for the rivered ten-high straight.

Tasyurek Sends Wenzelburger Packing

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With 6,300 in the pot and the flop reading Q57, three players remained in the hand. Halil Tasyurek led out with a 2,000 bet as the first to act, prompting Philipp Wenzelburger to raise it to 7,000. Bernat Capdevila Montes stepped aside, but after some thought, Tasyurek moved all in. Wenzelburger took a quick second to double-check his cards, said "call," and the cards were revealed.

Wenzelburger had K10 for a flush draw, while Tasyurek held AQ for top pair. With his tournament life on the line, Wenzelburger needed help from the board, but the 6 turn and 6 river sealed his fate, sending him to the rail.
