Amsellem Gets Paid by Cohen
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Picking the action up in a hand between Massou Cohen on the button and Anthony Amsellem in the big blind, 25,000 was already in the middle on a board of A♣9♦K♥A♦.
Amsellem led out with a bet of 10,000 and Cohen made the quick call.
On the 3♣ river, Amsellem fired again, putting out a bet of 21,500 and Cohen again made the quick call.
Amsellem showed A♠J♣ for trip aces, while Cohen was unfortunate in that he had A♥4♣ for trip aces, but Amsellem's jack kicker played and sent him the pot.
