Set vs. Set Showdown Sees Tropea's Departure
Level 25
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
From the hijack, Renato Hysenbelli initiated with a minimum raise to 80,000, met by Federico Macori's three-bet to 240,000 in the cutoff, which Hysenbelli called.
Macori then bet 125,000 on the 8♣3♥Q♠ flop, prompting a check-raise to 350,000 from Hysenbelli. After some contemplation, Macori made the call.
Upon the turn of 5♣, Hysenbelli promptly went all-in, swiftly called by Macori.
Renato Hysenbelli: 3♦3♠
Federico Macori: Q♦Q♣
In a showdown of set over set, Hysenbelli failed to find his one-outer on the 9♦ river, leading to his elimination.
