Boianovsky Almost Busts Salas
Level 24
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Felipe Boianovsky bet 100,000 from the small blind on the flop of 10♠6♠3♠ and Damian Salas called from the big blind. Boianovsky then sized up to 400,000 on the 10♣ turn and Salas called once again.
On the K♠ river, Boianovsky used a time bank before betting 350,000. Salas then reraised all in for 2,310,000. Boianovsky burned another time bank before flicking in a chip to make the call. Salas tabled 6♣5♣ for two pair and Boianovsky showed J♠10♦ for a jack-high flush.
This left Salas with 10,000 behind. A chip and a chair scenario at this final table.
He then won with Q♠2♦ when forced all in from the small blind versus Antoine Labat's 10♥8♥. The board ran out 2♠J♥K♣7♦3♥ and bottom pair was good for Salas, which took his total to 120,000.
