Kulev Hero Calls Himself to the Rail
Level 3
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Alex Kulev raised from under the gun, Masashi Oya three-bet to 11,000, from the cutoff, and Kulev called.
Kulev check-called a bet of 13,000 from Oya on the 3♠7♦5♣ flop.
The 2♦ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Oya sized up to 28,000.
The river landed the 3♦ and Kulev checked again. Oya placed a bet large enough to put Kulev all in for his effective stack of 133,000. Kulev, pained with his decision, burned through several time bank chips for making the call.
Oya tabled A♣A♠, sending Kulev to the rail. As he exited the room, the dealer tabled his 5♠4♠ for second pair.
