Spencer and Vieira Hit the Rail
Level 12
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Aleksejs Ponakovs raised from the button, Lewis Spencer three-bet to 105,000 from the small blind and Ponakovs responded with a four-bet jam. Spencer called off the bet for his effective stack of 619,000.
Lewis Spencer: A♠Q♠
Aleksejs Ponakovs: A♣K♣
The board ran out with no help for Spencer as the dealer spread the 7♦8♦2♦10♥3♥ runout. Ponakovs superior holding remained that way to the river and Spencer was sent to the rail.
Joao Vieira also hit the rail at a different table at roughly the same time.
