Rafael Moraes opened under the gun to 30,000, only to be faced with a three-bet to 75,000 from Lander Lijo on the button. Moraes rejammed for 250,000 and Lijo snap called.

Moraes needed some help but none was provided by the J♥2♣3♠5♥J♠ runout, sending PokerStars Ambassador Moraes to the rail.
The pot stood at 45,000 in a blind versus blind battle with the board reading A♠3♥10♦.
Daniel Rezaei, in the small blind, check-called a bet of 15,000 from Mauricio Sanchez, in the big blind.
The 10♣ turn saw Rezaei play out of flow, leading for 20,000. Sanchez called.
The 9♦ river slowed down Rezaei with a check. Sanchez bet out 30,000 and Rezaei put in a sizeable check-raise to 185,000. Sanchez took his time before making the call. Rezaei tabled 5♣3♠, while Sanchez claimed this pot with A♣5♠, for top pair.
Vladimir Troyanovsky moved all in from the button and for around 170,000 and was called by the short-stacked Rehman Kassam in the big blind, with Rehman at risk.

Kassam was ahead in a race, and remained so after the Q♠Q♦8♥ flop.
However the A♥ rolled off on the turn to give Troyanovsky the lead, and the 7♦ river changed nothing. Kassam said his goodbyes and wished the table luck.
Following a late position open raise, Elias Gutierrez called on the button, then Andras Nemeth three-bet to 160,000 from the small blind. The original raiser folded and Gutierrez made the call.
The flop came 6♦K♣4♦. Nemeth continued for 50,000 and Gutierrez called. The turn was the 3♥ and Nemeth, after asking to look at his opponent's stack, bet again for 80,000. Gutierrez called.
The river was the 3♦ and Nemeth moved all in for the rest of Gutierrez's stack. Gutierrez went into the tank, using four time bank cards before eventually making the call.
Nemeth showed A♦6♠ for a pair of sixes and Gutierrez flipped over 7♠7♦ for a pair of sevens to win the pot and double up his stack early on in the day.
Roberto Romanello moved his short stack all in from under the gun, Maher Nouira isolated by moving all in himself from the hijack and the hand went to a showdown.

Rehman Kassam moved all in for his last 20,000 from under the gun, Rafael Moraes called in the small blind and Samuel Ju moved all in from the big blind for his last 85,000. Moraes folded.
