Satubayev Busts Shylko on Bubble

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Aliaksandr Shylko
Aliaksandr Shylko

Aliaksandr Shylko was under the gun with only 3,000 left, and he flicked his chips in before the cards were dealt so that he would be eligible to win the big blind ante, rather than waiting to be forced all-in in the big blind and being unable to pay the ante.

Action folded to Daniel Rezaei, who had been making hay on the bubble, and he raised to 35,000. Shyngis Satubayev was in the big blind and he queried with the floor what would happen if he busted in the same hand as Shylko. He was informed that as they were at the same table, the player with the higher starting stack would take the higher place finish. On hearing this, Satubayev called.

On the 6102 flop, Rezaei led out with a bet of 20,000 and Satubayev called.

The Q rolled off on the turn, and Rezaei slowed down, checking to his opponent. Satubayev fired out a bet of 25,000, but Rezaei wasn't going anywhere and called.

The 5 completed the board and was checked through.

Aliaksandr Shylko showed 24 for a pair of deuces, Rezaei had 104 for a pair of tens, but Satubayev had 109 for a pair of tens with the better kicker, sending him the pot, and sending the unfortunate Shylko to the rail empty handed.

All remaining players are now guaranteed a minimum payout of €51,000.

Kings Cracked by Case Ace to Start Hand for Hand Play

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Felipe Boianovsky
Felipe Boianovsky

Artur Martirosian raised to 18,000 from under the gun, Lander Lijo three-bet to 48,000 in the hijack and Felipe Boianovsky cold-four bet to 88,000. Kuljinder Sidhu, on the button, called off the bet for his remaining 86,000. Martirosian folded and Lijo called.

Lijo and Boianovsky checked it down and the final board read 623A10.

Kuljinder Sidhu: KK All in
Felipe Boianovsky: AQ
Lander Lijo: AQ

Sidhu's kings were cracked sending him to the rail as Lijo and Boianovsky chopped the pot. Martirosian later told the table he also folded an ace, meaning the ace on the turn was, in fact, the last in the deck.

With 32 players remaining and 31 being paid, the tournament is now playing hand for hand.
