Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Maher Nouira
Maher Nouira

The pot had already swelled to 180,000 with two players looking at a board of K232.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy, who was under the gun, bet out for 55,000. Maher Nouira, in the hijack, made the call.

The 6 river slowed down Troyanovskiy with a check. Nouira moved all in for approximately 90,000. Troyanovskiy looked frustrated to have to make the fold, pitching his cards into the muck.

Lebedev Good at Showdown

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded to Andrew Chen in the hijack, who opened to 12,000, and received calls from Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Sergey Lebedev in the blinds.

Action was checked to Chen on the 249 flop, who slid out a bet of 18,000. Only Lebedev called.

The 7 turn was checked through by both players, as was the 2 river. Lebedev showed 66 for a pair of sixes, and that was sufficient for Chen to muck his hand.

Big stacks Daniel Rezaei and Masashi Oya are now at the same table, and about 170,000 was already in the middle on 9AQ63 in a hand between Rezaei in the cutoff and Oya in the big blind.

Oya checked to Rezaei, who pondered the position for a moment, but decided to check back. It proved a good decision as Oya showed A6 for two pair, saying "No good?" while Rezaei smiled and mucked his hand, flashing the A.

Rezaei Puts Heath in Blender

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Ben Heath opened to 16,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 28,000 by Daniel Rezaei in middle position. Action folded back to Heath, who called.

Heath check-called a bet of 9,000 from Rezaei on the J32 flop.

The 7 rolled off on the turn, and Heath check-called a small bet of 12,000 from Rezaei.

The K landed on the river, and Heath checked once more. Rezaei thought momentarily before announcing he was all in, easily covering Heath.

Heath chuckled to himself, checked his cards a couple of times and considered the spot for a minute or so. He then folded, shaking his head as he did so.

As Rezaei raked in the pot, he looked at his opponent, smiled and said "Pleased to not get snapped by a flush."

Heath responding "That was a weird f***ing hand, man."
