Saliba Wins Checked-Down Pot
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Besiana Antoni opened from middle position to 1,600. Vivian Saliba called in the hijack. Action folded around to Axel Junker who defended the big blind.
The 6♠A♥K♣ flop was checked around, as was the A♠ turn. Another round of knuckles ensued on the 4♠ river. Antoni tabled 10♦9♦ before Junker declared "queen-high" while tabling Q♣10♥. However, it was Saliba's 8♠8♥ that was good enough to take the pot.
