The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Monte Carlo here at the Sporting Monte-Carlo continues today with the €3,000 Mystery Bounty. Day 1 of this three-day event kicks off this afternoon at 2 p.m. local time.
In 2023, it was Jeremie Zouari who emerged victorious after besting a field of 678 players. Zouari lay claim to the lion's share of the €1,163,448 prize pool, taking home €194,310 for the first-place prize.

This is the second Mystery Bounty tournament to take place at EPT Monte Carlo, with Antoine Labat taking down the €10,200 Mystery Bounty last week. Labat triumphed over Felipe Boianovsky in heads-up play to claim the €116,800 up top and €40,000 in additional bounties.
Late registration will be open until the beginning of Day 2, which kicks off on Wednesday, May 1, at 12:30 p.m. On Level 15 of Day 2, the Mystery Bounties will come into play. Of the total entry fee, €1,000 will be put into the bounty prize pool which will generate bounties that will be confirmed once the prize pool is finalized.
Anyone who enters the Mystery Bounty will receive a starting stack of 30,000. The plan for Day 1 is to play twelve 40-minute levels and while the registration period is open, players are allowed unlimited reentries.

Nixon led the 9♠8♣A♠ flop for 600 and Dudka called. Nixon slowed down and checked the 10♦ turn before Dudka bet 1,500. Nixon called. The 2♠ river was checked down , Nixon tabled K♦K♥ but was pipped by Dudka's A♦4♠ for top pair.

Kotyk led the 6♦A♣5♦ flop for 700. Huberman called. Kotyk slowed down on the 6♠ prompting a 1,100 bet from Huberman. Kotyk folded quickly and Huberman took the pot.

Alon Huberman raised to 500 from under the gun, receiving calls from Jean-Baptiste Aubry in the hijack, Alfonso Simone on the button and Ihor Kotyk in the big blind.
The action checked to Huberman, who bet out 600 on the 10♣5♥2♥ flop, Aubry called and Simone raised to 2,200. Kotyk cold-called and the other two players followed suit.
The 2♠ turn saw the action check to Simone, who continued for 4,600, prompting three quick folds.

Action folded around to Jean Labryga on the button who opened to 500. Nina Krasilnikova called in the small blind and Xavier Cortazar defended the big blind.
The 5♦Q♦A♣ flop was checked around and both blinds checked to Labryga again on the 8♣ turn. He bet 800 and got quick folds from his opponents. Cortazar tabled 4♣4♥ and Krasilnikova claimed to have had jack-eight. Labryga tabled the 8♦.
