button in SafariThumm Sends Höfler to the Rail
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Niclas Thumm opened from the button with a raise to 4,000 and Mario Höfler, in the big blind with only 16,000 left, made the call.
The J♠10♣Q♣ flop appeared promising and lived up to expectations as Thumm bet 5,000 and Höfler check-shoved all in his last 11,000. Thumm called, and they went to showdown.
Mario Höfler: Q♠9♦
Niclas Thumm: K♥Q♦
With little left to help Höfler, the 4♣ turn and the A♣ river confirmed his fate, sending him to the rail.
