Francisco Martin-Romo moved all in for 17,000 from the button and Rafael Moraes put him at risk from the small blind.
Francisco Martin-Romo: A♦10♦
Rafael Moraes: A♥Q♠
Moraes had Martin-Romo dominated as the flop came K♣8♥J♦. The turn was the 10♠ and Martin-Romo made a pair, but the same card improved Moraes to the nut straight.
The 4♦ completed the board and the Team PokerStars Pro raked in the pot while Martin-Romo was eliminated.
Following an open raise, Umberto Ruggeri flat called, then Tarmo Tammel moved all in for 37,000 from the big blind. The original raiser folded and Ruggeri made the call with the bigger stack. Players flipped their cards.
Tarmo Tammel: A♦Q♠
Umberto Ruggeri: K♠K♥
The board ran out 3♠2♥A♣7♦6♠. Ruggeri had flatted with kings and successfully induced a reshove, but Tammel paired his ace on the flop to win the pot. He congratulated his opponent on the trap as he scooped in the pot for a double up.
A massive pot of around 50,000 was already in the middle as Imad Derwiche got his last 20,000 in on the turn with the board showing 10♠K♣6♦8♠.
Oleksii Natoptanyi put him at risk from the cutoff with 9♦9♥, but Derwiche had 6♣6♥ for a set of sixes. The river was the 7♣ and Natoptanyi spiked a straight to send a stunned Derwiche to the rail.
Luis Rodolfo Gonzalez Moran was all in preflop for a touch over 20,000 against Valeriano Toledano Moreno, who had him well covered as players turned over their cards.
Luis Rodolfo Gonzalez Moran: Q♣Q♦
Valeriano Toledano Moreno: A♣K♠
It was the most classic of poker races between queens and ace-king. The board ran out 10♥9♣5♣10♣9♥. Moreno picked up more outs with a flush draw on the turn as well as his overcards, but ultimately Moran held with his pocket queens.
Yurii Oliinyk raised to 1,800 from late position and Jack Corrigan stepped it up with a three-bet to 5,600. Oliinyk called and action went to the flop.
The flop came the 5♠7♣K♥. Oliinyk checked, Corrigan bet 3,500 and Oliinyk called. The turn was the 3♣. Oliinyk checked again and Corrigan bet 6,500. Oliinyk once again made the call.
The river was the Q♥. Ollinyk checked a third time and Corrigan opted to check behind to get to showdown. Oliinyk showed 7♦7♠ for a flopped set of sevens that he'd been slowplaying. Corrigan mucked and Oliinyk took the pot.
Roman Verenko was all in for 30,000 under the gun, Thomas Boivin got his last 50,000 in the middle from early position, and Valeriano Toledano put both players at risk from the button.
Roman Verenko: 8♥7♥
Thomas Boivin: J♦J♥
Valeriano Toledano: A♠A♥
"What are my chances, Sam?" Boivin asked tablemate Sam Grafton as the flop came 8♦K♥A♦ to give Toledano top set.
"Not good, now," Grafton replied. Toledano finished with a full house as the board ran out 5♦5♠, sending both opponents to the rail.
While the previous hand at this table was taking place, Rania Nasreddine dropped her can of Coke on the floor.
"Can somebody open this for me? I'm wearing cashmere," Nasreddine said.
"If you do this, it fixes it," tablemate Kacper Swiderski said as he grabbed the can and began spinning it around.
Nasreddine then gave Swiderski her phone and he began filming her trying to open it. "Should I take the cashmere off," Nasreddine said as she pulled the tab. She successfully managed to open it without any spilling. "Yay Poland!" she yelled out.
"Can you explain the physics of how that works?" Barny Boatman asked.
"Something about the pressure inside and outside the can," Swiderski replied.
"You learn something new every day. And they say poker players only know about crypto and bad beats," Nasreddine added.
Antonio Buonanno raised to 1,600 under the gun and everyone at the table except Boatman called. The flop came 4♠7♠6♥ and action checked to Sergiy Dudka who bet 4,000 in the cutoff.
Only Swiderski called and the 5♥ fell on the turn. Swiderski bet 3,500 and Dudka called. The river was the 4♦ and Swiderski bet 8,000.
Dudka folded this time and Swiderski slammed down J♠10♠ for a bluff to win the pot.
Boris Kolev raised to 1,800 from late position and Oya Masashi called on the button. Mats Gramsborg Ullereng then moved all in from the small blind for 7,800. Kolev got the count and then flat called the shove. Masashi reshoved and Kolev called with both players covered.
Mats Gramsborg Ullereng: K♠J♣
Oya Masashi: 9♠9♣
Boris Kolev: A♥K♥
The board ran out 4♥7♣8♥8♦J♥. Kolev had a flush draw on the flop and completed it on the river to win the pot, busting both Ullereng and Masashi in the process while chipping up to close to 100,000.
